I ask my golf comrade today(very active in his church) and he told me if the Bible says the earth will remain forever it will remain forever....This is serious folks, so if someone speaks up lets be kind..

by deegee inaren't there christian denominations who do not make false end of the world predictions but who nevertheless believe that the world will eventually end and paradise (whether in heaven or on earth) will come?.
it seems the watchtower was just jumping the gun when they made false end of the world predictions but they are nevertheless the right: the world will eventually end and paradise will come..

by Carol1111 ini had a discussion with 4 jws today and they told me that jesus could not be tempted, ( they say that he would not be perfect if he could) but also they told me that satan tempted jesus in the wilderness.. can anyone clarify their beliefs please.
i like to give them a reasoned argument when i talk to them, but have never noticed this conflict of ideas before..

Just think around 1970-1971 I was in the infield at Dodger stadium with a group of singers from congregations in the circuit singing my heart out before the assembly begin. Today I'm preparing for a concert next week singing and playing (Guitar) pagan Christmas songs, what the hell happen??
